Manging Director

Managing Director, Colin Rider CFIOSH, AIEMA trained at GEC in Rugby as an electrical engineer and joined the Safety Department in 1982, becoming Company Safety Officer in 1986. After 9 years practising at corporate level, Colin moved into training and consultancy with the Engineering Employers Federation, founding Messam & Rider Ltd. with Steve messam in 1999.

Director of Business

Steve Messam, CMIOSH, AIEMA, served his apprenticeship with British Rail in his home town of Derby. He moved into the water industry as a Safety Practitioner and then into training and consultancy with Water Training International and EEF West Midlands at CMTC and Woodland Grange

Lead Health, Safety and Environmental Tutor/Consultant, Adrian Lee, MSc, CMIOSH, has a background in both food and occupational safety within the catering and aircraft industries, together with extensive training and consultancy experience.

Health and Safety Tutor/Consultant, Rex Harrison BSc (Hons), CMIOSH, AIEMA has over 20 years manufacturing experience in the printing and publishing sector in both production and health and safety, gaining the position of Group Health Safety and Systems Manager.

Administration Support

Following over 20 years experience in the fire service, Health and Safety Tutor/Consultant, Paul Todd, Grad IOSH GIFireE moved into health and safety management, with experience in both the waste management and recycling industry and within local authorities with specific responsibility for safety in schools.

Pete Frost CMIOSH has extensive experience as a safety tutor/consultant following safety management roles in the Chamber of Commerce and Learning and Skills Council. More recently Pete was Group health and Safety Manager for MotorSport Vision responsible for both policy implementation and day to day track safety.

From a military background, Bernard Foad MSc, CFIOSH has worked at corporate level in health and safety within the Courtaulds group and has extensive experience as a health and safety tutor/consultant, within the Engineering Employers Federation and Pivotal Performance
