Cultural Change and the Supervisor

The role of the teamleader and supervisor is key in effecting cultural change and influencing safe behaviours.. Developed in partnership with BAE Military Air Solutions this course will help bring about zero tolerance with regards to unsafe practices & unsafe conditions, in line with the ‘Exemplar’ strategy.

Course format

This is a one day course offered on an in-company basis.

Reasons to attend

People generally work under a level of supervision. No behavioural change programme can succeed in the longer term without workers’ behaviours being incorporated into the supervisor’s role. This course will ensure that local supervision will not only get bought in to the concepts of cultural and behavioural change, but will be given the techniques in which to manage and monitor them.

Course objective

At the end of the course the delegate will understand the importance of 'Good Spots' and the term 'Total Safety Culture'. delegates will also understand the drivers for change and be able to apply a series of strategies such as Process Confirmation, Safety Kaizens & Personal Safety Charters and the importance of SHE review
